The server cleaning with controlled downtime is the right choice if you want to completely clean your IT-server. Unlike other purification methods, all the hardware removed and the servers are not operational during this time, however.
The advantage of server cleaning with controlled downtime is the fact that the interval to the next cleaning is considerably higher than the normal cleaning operation. While cleaning should normally be done every 4 - 9 months, server cleaning with controlled downtime only needs to be done every 12 - 18 months.
What is the processing server cleaning ?
On-site inspection in the presence of your IT-representative of the EDP-rooms and the existing hardware, as well as a subsequent status analysis. Power supplies, fans, drives, and other components are not only cleaned using a special vacuum cleaners but also dirt and fine particulate matter.
The dirt particles are removed with an air gun with the rotary screen, intercepted and thus permanently removed from your computer rooms. The active components are cleaned with special tools according to the manufacturer's instructions. The detergent used is of course allowed for cleaning and TUV-approved. For older parts that are not functioning properly, we use a Kontakt-Reiniger , restoring the optimal functionality of the hardware.
After cleaning: start-up and new Get Started!
After cleaning, your server is reassembled, antistatic sealed and cabled. Before we go, the functionality of your server, along with your IT-representative is reviewed and documented after the start-up.
